Filband Forest

Filband, a beautiful paradise over the clouds

Filband village is located in the rural district of Khoshrud in Mazandaran province. Due to its high altitude from sea level, the weather is extremely cold and freezing in winter (for about seven months is covered with snow), so the village is the summer countryside of Diva-Molkshah villagers. In winter, the houses are abandoned and the village is vacant. Filband nearby meadows in the warm season are used as livestock pastures of Diva-Molkshah village residents. Since in summers the village has a cool climate, it hosts many guests and climbers. The village is over the clouds so that, often in daylights, you witness a wonderful and picturesque view of clouds looking like the blue sea. In the absence of fog and clouds, the clear sky let us watch the scenery, which is absolutely enjoyable
